Protohub Creative Space- Darlinghurst

Posted on December 17, 2012 by Laurent Demay

Did you know about Protohub in Darlinghurst, Sydney? If not, you should read the following as it might help you or one of your friends.

Protohub is the brainchild of Sydney based designer Zev Bianchi.

Zev created a community workshop and hub for creative and like-minded people. A space to meet, share ideas, work on designs and collaborate on projects. It is an ‘old school’ community work shop, with dated but fully functional machines such as lathes, milling machines and welders etc. for metal and wood working. The main focus is on using hands on techniques and producing prototypes at a low cost.

The workshop is open to any participant who is qualified to use the machines with a future plan to run classes on how to use the equipment. If you have a project in mind but don't know how to run the machines, you can always have the work done for you to your design.

It is also a great space which can be booked for exhibitions and functions.

If you would like to find out more, contact Zev Bianchi on 0413 769 303 or zev@bcompact.com
